The Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has acknowledged that 2024 is set to be a challenging year due to Nigeria’s current economic difficulties. However, he assured citizens that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is making concerted efforts to address these challenges and improve the country’s economic situation.
Obasa made this statement on Friday during the Lagos State House of Assembly’s 22nd Annual Thanksgiving Service. He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful, emphasizing the government’s dedication to easing the hardships faced by the populace.
“The outgoing year has been particularly tough, especially considering the state of the economy,” Obasa remarked. “Nonetheless, we take comfort in the fact that the administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to lead us to the promised land.”
The Speaker encouraged Nigerians not to lose faith, adding that the President is working tirelessly to bring relief and put smiles on their faces.
